Posted for sale in Australia in March 2019. Mileage on ad read 117,500km. Ad reads: "Looking at swapping my Toyota Supra that I have had since it was imported 15yrs ago or so. It's is an original 2jz GTE 6spd manual. I have approximately 40-50k on motor in total the last upgrade was full rebuild and strengthen all internals and that build cost 29k alone. Original power output was 513kw at the wheels (686HP). Now the car body is great only rust is on bootlid which is replaceable easily. Paint has been stripped ready for wrap or respray. I have been considering what to do with car whether to build it to drag or just get back on street but can't decide. This is the perfect project as motor and Driveline have all been done. Paint it your colour of choice or wrap and reassemble the interior. If you have a look around this particular model car is chasing $60,000- $130,000. Spend a bit make alot. I can explain reason for sale to lugit buyers.. As for upgrades I could go on and on. But just to mention a couple.. -Garrett GT50 turbo (45-50) - NPC custom built race clutch suited to 1000hp - All forged pistons and rods. - ARE intercooler. - Wheels 11" rear (295 tyre) 8.5" front (245 tyre) - full custom stainless exhaust through to intake 5zigen muffler. NEEDS. -Better fuel pump. The 1 it has won't keep up when boost is turned up. -Upgrade ECU. Sold the old one after build and Replaced with the old mines circuit computer. - Front spoiler veilside one I had was too low causing me to raise front end which also changed handling. - Drivers side sideskirt, Dog chewed on it.. - hood lining redone. - respray or wrapped - New boot lid, as boot lid has the 'ONLY' rust. And boot cost approx $300 give or take. This engine has not yet been run in. It has spent roughly 20hrs on dyno tuning it. I am the original owner from import. And it was imported as a standard 2jz GTE. This car is extremely powerful for street. Sale price value would have to be around $27,500 which doesn't even cover engine upgrade..."
